Wisdom from Past Life Regression: Healing Karma and Understanding Soul Contracts

At first, I avoided examining my most recent past life. I thought it would be easier to skip over it, but I soon realized I was missing essential insight. Before a client session, I finally allowed myself to dig deeper into that life.

What I discovered was not easy to face. I had lived as a father with a thriving business who was recruited into the military. I did not want to serve. I had a beautiful wife, children, and a comfortable home. I sang in church every Sunday, was admired by my neighbors, and cared for my parents. But I was also a strict rule-follower. That tendency carried over into this life, though I later found that breaking rules became an act of survival and the key to healing karma.

Habits Carried Across Lifetimes

Past life regression also revealed traits that have lingered into the present. I tend to act as an order-giver rather than a team player, which I continue to work on changing. But there are also positive threads. In my last three lives, music has played an important role. In this lifetime, I pushed music away because of the pain surrounding it, but I now see how vital it is to my soul’s expression. This realization has reminded me to reclaim music as part of my path.

How Clients Benefit from Regression

When clients come to me for readings, they often begin with specific questions they want answered. While I honor that, I also guide them toward a deeper focus: understanding their soul contract. Within three sessions, we usually revisit one or two past lives to identify what was learned or left unfinished. From there, we examine the current life contract and outline the steps needed to fulfill it.

Recognizing and completing these contracts is essential. Each lesson mastered moves the soul closer to higher self-actualization, the full realization of its intellectual, creative, and spiritual gifts. Once the soul achieves mastery, reincarnation ceases, and the soul takes on a permanent role in the upper realm, such as becoming an Akashic Master Writer.
